This home is what we refer to as a cookie cutter home. Like most in this area, it was built as simple as possible with little variance in exterior appearance. Although it helped bring the cost of a home down and encouraged home ownership, this home was still left with an unfinished basement and weathered vinyl siding. Then, at some point in time, a balcony was added to the rear of the home with a mix of odd materials, un-nailed boards and not up to code. This home was in dire need of a facelift to get away from that 'boxy' look and provide the common updates that every home needs from time to time. With a budget in place and a fantastic want/need list, planning began.
