When the owners went searching for a home, they wanted a fixer-upper with enough land to expand their possibilities. So when they stumbled on a home for sale with two lots they didn't have to think twice. Even though the home did need a lot of work, they put it on hold and decided to build a carriage home located at the rear of lot 2. With help from myself to design the plans and, to name a few of the trades, Yardworks Excavating, Chad Wood Construction, and Peak Electrical to complete construction. The attention to detail and character during the process demonstrated their passion in personalizing their detached secondary home.
Within a 1,200 square feet footprint, this home includes a 2-car garage below with 10' ceilings and ample storage, 2-bedroom and 1-bathroom suite above with vaulted open living space, large windows, covered balcony, large kitchen, even more storage and, to top it off, their own laundry facilities.
With mountain views out each East and West transom windows and a large field of privacy out the back balcony to the North. Making this home a great income property and a great place to live when they do decide to renovated their primary home.

Woah! I'm really digging the template/theme of this blog. It's simple,
ReplyDeleteyet effective. A lot of times it's very difficult to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and visual appearance. I must say you've done a superb job
with this. Also, the blog loads super fast for me on Chrome.
Exceptional Blog!
Thank you Tory, that really means a lot! It's been a lot of work - now I know it's paid off. Thanks for the tip on Chrome :)
DeleteFantastic photos. I really like his style, especially the back yard views and Home Tour #1016. I can tell that's his work as well. I would love to hear more about him!
